Description

Compressed magenta and orange spiny oyster shell form a gorgeous composite with gold fill resin in this vibrant bear fetish by Zuni carver Bernard Laiwakete.  Colors within the bear fetish include purple, orange, white, gold, and hints of blue, while the bear’s neck and head are bent downward.  In most Native American cultures, the bear represents strength, introspection, healing, and the spiritual journey  1 7/8″ tall x 2 1/4″ wide x 3/8″ thick.
