Finished with a stunning stone polish atop its black backdrop, this impressive jar by Santa Clara potter Vicki Martinez features a deeply carved avanyu serpent along its center.  A recognizable lightning pattern extends outward from the avanyu’s mouth, with its wavy body winding its way around the remainder of the body of the piece.  5″ tall x 5″ wide.
