Description
Handmade by Jemez potter Loren Wallowingbull, this impressive storyteller figurine features a large, seated eagle with two eaglets. The eagle rests with legs outstretched, one wing folded in front of its body while the other wing, painted green and black, is furled on the opposite side. One eaglet rests on the eagle’s shoulder, while the other rests on its chest. Eagle is finished with a large tableta atop its head painted with corn stalk patterns, while eaglets are painted in the same color and pattern scheme as the eagle. Loren is the brother of well-known Jemez potter Chrislyn Fragua. 8″ tall x 5″ wide x 7 1/2″ deep.
