Description
Nine small, oval Dry Creek turquoise pieces dot a traditional squash blossom necklace, with two additional Dry Creek stones featured in the matching earrings in this gorgeous Navajo set. Four stones each dot the necklace’s double sterling silver beaded strands, while a single stone rests at the top of the curve of the piece’s sterling silver naja. The naja comprises two plain sterling bands with a single sterling rope pattern running through its center, while each stone, both on the naja and the necklace’s strands are set in simple sterling silver bezels and surrounded at the base by a sterling rope patter, followed by a scalloped sterling band stamped with scallop patterns. Each of the stones along the necklace are finished with a thin, short three pronged sterling squash blossom, and the necklace merges into a single strand about halfway up. Matching earrings mimic the stone and silverwork of the turquoise piece on the naja. Each stone varies powder to light blue in color and contains portions of brown and tan matrix. Necklace cannot be laid flat from end to end for a proper end to end measurement. Necklace measures 12 1/4″ from top to bottom for an approximate total length of 24 1/2″. Necklace is finished with a hook and eye clasp. Earrings measure 1″ long including French hook x 1/2″ wide.
