Description
A reoccurring, black butterfly pattern covers a large portion of this beautiful, handmade jar by Acoma potter Mary Antonio. The rim of the piece is solid black, giving way to the traditional butterfly pattern painted atop a white backdrop, while rows of three dots set both horizontally and vertically are painted within most of the negative spaces created by the butterfly design. Base of the piece is painted solid red. 6″ tall x 6 1/2″ wide.
