Description

A handmade, round jar features hand painted designs in black and white that create ribbons along the body in this piece by Mata Ortiz artist Alicia Cota Renteria.  The rim of the piece is painted solid white, followed by a black ribbon painted with diamond patterns.  This, in turn, gives way to alternating black ribbons painted with white squares that create whirlwinds, and white ribbons painted in a triangular maze pattern.  6 1/4″ tall x 6″ wide.
