Description

Carved by hand by Hopi/Laguna artist Ray Jose, this fun and unique kachina doll depicts a Warrior Mouse.  The mouse stans atop a thick cottonwood root base, one arm outstretched upward and outward holding a majestic eagle in its hand.  The mouse holds onto a walking stick in its other hand, one foot slightly in front of the other as if stepping forward.  Colorful garments adorn the mouse’s waist painted in red, orange, yellow, turquoise and black, while the mouse’s body is grey painted in black and white designs.  11 1/2″ tall x 4″ wide x 4″ deep.
