Description
Known for her koshare figurines, Navajo carver Bertha Wood created this fun piece in the same spirit, depicting a fisherman. The koshare stands atop a round wooden base, large moccasins adorning its feet and its body painted with white splatters and black stripes. A fishing pole is slung over one shoulder and held in the same hand, while the koshare holds three fish strung up in its opposite hand. A tackle box is slung across the koshare’s chest, and the piece is finished in felt accents. 7 1/4″ tall x 3 1/2″ wide x 6″ deep.
