Description
Handmade by Jemez potter Diane Lucero, this lovely storyteller figurine features a seated woman and two children. The woman rests with both legs outstretched, one child in her lap and the other over her shoulder. A piece of pottery rests beside the child on her lap, the woman’s hand placed along the side of the pot opposite the child, while a beautiful purple and buff shawl with black and grey geometric patterns flows over her head and down her shoulders, covering the child behind one shoulder. The children smile while the woman’s head lifts upward, her mouth open and cheeks rosy. 3 1/4″ tall x 2 1/2″ wide x 3 5/8″ deep.
