Description

Made entirely of orange spiny oyster shell, this impressive heishi necklace was handmade by Santo Domingo artist Lupe Lovato.  Known for his heishi work, Lupe created this necklace in the same style, featuring discs and tear drop shaped slabs of orange spiny oyster, culminating at the center with a larger, thinner tear drop shaped pendant comprising orange spiny, which showcases a tear drop cut out at its center.  Necklace is finished with a hook and eye closure.  Necklace measures 22″ from end to end, not including pendant length.  Pendant measures 2 5/8″ long x 2 1/4″ wide. Total necklace length including pendant is 24 5/8″.
