Description

Zuni potter Deldrick Cellicion, known for his speckled red and buff backdrops and three dimensional lizards, combines those features with several hand painted deer with heartline in this gorgeous, traditional Zuni jar. Thee deer alternate around the body of the piece with black and white birds, each painted in black and white and the deer featuring red accents.  The inside bottom of the piece showcases on of Deldrick’s recognizable lizards, its head lifted up above the surface and body painted in red and white polka dots.  The piece is finished beautifully with a scalloped rim, its edges painted solid black.  6″ tall x 8″ wide.
