Fourteen small, round lapis pieces dot both naja and beads along this stunning Navajo squash blossom necklace, with one additional lapis piece set within each of its matching earrings. The necklace comprises double strands of sterling silver Navajo pearls that merge into a single strand toward each end, with five squash blossoms set along each side of the double strands. Each blossom is set with a single lapis piece in a sawtooth sterling silver bezel, the stone bordered on the top and one side with leaf and flower sterling silverwork. The naja of the piece also features the same leaf and flower work at the top of its curve, two lapis stones set horizontally below it, while an additional lapis stone is set at each end. The naja comprises three sterling bands, two left unadorned and the center showcasing a sterling rope pattern. Earrings match the blossoms set along the double stranded necklace portion. Necklace cannot be laid flat for end to end measurement. Necklace measures 12 1/2″ from top to bottom for an approximate total length of 25″. Necklace is finished with a hook and eye closure. Earrings measure 1 3/4″ long including French hook x 1/2″ wide.
