Description

Turquoise, jet, golden mother of pearl, malachite, pink mussel shell and coral combine with sterling silver to create this gorgeous butterfly pendant by Zuni silversmith Tamara Pinto.  The head and body of the butterfly showcase only malachite, while the wings are inlaid with a combination of turquoise, pink mussel shell dotted with coral, jet, and golden other of pearl dotted with turquoise.  Waved sterling slivers separate the stones along the wings, and stones are lightly etched to create more dimension.  1 1/2″ long including bail x 1 1/2″ wide.
