Description
Handmade by Jemez potter Carol Lucero Gachupin, this stunning, shallow bowl features painted patterns on both inside and out, the piece’s micaceous clay adding glimmering specks to an already impressive piece. The inside of the bow features a bowl backdrop painted along one half with flower, corn, feather, and weather designs, along with a sun symbol, while the opposite side features weather patterns painted vibrantly in red, orange, blue, white, and black. The outside of the bow showcases a white rim giving way to colorful triangles painted in blue, red and orange along with reoccurring black whirlwinds. 2″ tall x 7″ wide.
