Description

Eight children rest along the rim of a small, handmade piece of pottery in this adorable friendship bowl by Cochiti potter Vangie Suina.  Six of the eight children sit on the edge of the rim, while two of the children hang on the rim on their stomachs.  The children hold items including a book, a basket, a piece of pottery, a ball, a blanket, and a drum, while each is accented in red and black designs.  The bowl on which they rest is predominantly white and also painted in red and black patterns, while the base of the bowl is painted entirely red.  The piece is finished with a wooden ladder protruding from the top of the bowl. Ladder is removable.  6″ tall with ladder x 2 3/4″ wide. 3 1/2″ tall without ladder.
