Description
Handmade by Jemez potter Chrislyn Fragua, known for her adorable storyteller figurines, this lovely piece showcases a seated man and four children. One boy rests on the mans interlocked hands, holding a drum, while two girls sit on his lap: one holding a basket and one holding a swaddled baby. Each of the figures, including the baby, has an open mouth and wide, expressive eyes, while the man’s face is painted with horizontal fine lines. The man is painted in grey and red clothing with black accents, while each of the girls wears a red dress with black accents. The boy is painted i brown and grey, and the baby in a grey and black swaddle. 5 1/2″ tall x 2 1/2″ wide x 4 1/4″ deep.
