A seated woman is flanked by four children, three on her lap and one over one shoulder, in this beautiful, traditional storyteller figurine by Jemez potter Diane Lucero. The woman rests with both legs bent to one side, her head tilted slightly upward and mouth open. Three children sit on the woman’s lap, one holding a soccer ball, one a basketball, and the third with his hands atop his head, while the fourth child peeks over one shoulder. The woman is painted in lovely turquoise accents, her cheeks rosy, and hair pulled into a bun at the back of her head. 4 3/8″ tall x 2 1/4″ wide x 3 1/2″ deep.
