Description

Carved by hand by Hopi/Laguna artist Ray Jose, this fun, unique kachina doll depicts a Warrior Mouse.  The mouse stands atop a thick cottonwood root base, one foot slightly in front of the other, one hand on a walking stick.  The opposite arm is raised up above the mouse’s head, its hand holding onto an eagle, who’s also got a wing outstretched.  The mouse is painted predominantly in grey, with white and black accents along its chest, wrists and ankles, while brown, yellow, red, and turquoise painted clothing adorn its lower half. while its tail extends upward and outward from behind.  11 1/2″ tall x 3 7/8″ wide x 3 1/2″ deep.
