Description

Handmade by Jemez potter Chrislyn Fragua, this fun figurine showcases an adorable turtle with a frog riding piggyback. The turtle is predominantly buff, painted in traditioal designs along its sides in red, pink and black, with a grey and red daisy atop its head.  The frog faces toward the side of the turtle, painted in grey with its tongue hanging out onto the turtle’s shell.  One ladybug rest on the frog’s tongue, while another appears to climb up the curve of its mouth.  4 1/4″ tall x 4 1/8″ wide x 5 1/4″ long.
