Description

Handmade by Jemez potter Gordon Foley, this gorgeous jar was created in the melon style with micaceous clay, giving it a shimmer and sparkle not seen on many Native American pots.  The piece’s inflection extends wider than its rim, the melon style giving the piece an appearance as if it’s swirling on a slight diagonal.  Its square rim finishes the jar beautifully.  5 1/2″ tall x 7 1/2″ wide.
