True to her signature style, this fun koshare kachina figurine by Navajo carver Bertha Wood features a fisherman holding a line of five caught fish. He stands with knees bent and feet pointing toward one another, a string held between each hand, upon which five wooden fish hang. Each fish is painted in green, turquoise and red, while the koshare is painted in black and white accents with a big, wide smile. The piece is finished with a can of worms at the koshare’s feet and a spool of string poking out from underneath one foot. 7 1/4″ tall x 3 1/2″ wide x 3 1/2″ deep.
