Description
Known for her hand carved koshare figurines, Navajo artist Bertha Wood created this piece in her signature style, depicting a guitarist. The koshare stands atop a round, wooden base, a guitar slung over his shoulder and one arm raise up into the air. His opposite hand rests on the guitar, while he tilts his head upward, as if hitting a difficult note. A cowboy hat with a feather accent is perched atop the koshare’s head, while he’s adorned in a felt vest and additional accessories, his body painted in black and white accents. 7 5/8″ tall x 4 5/8″ wide x 3 1/2″ deep.
