Description
Handmade by Navajo carver Bertha Wood, this fun koshare kachina doll depicts a home cook, wearing an apron labeled “cookie” and holding a cook book for chicken soup. The koshare holds one hand at his forehead, presumably looking for something, which we can assume is the chicken behind him, hovering over him on a tree trunk. The koshare is finished with black felt details along the hat, elbows and knees, while the apron is made of white felt. Chicken is painted predominantly white, with red and yellow accents. 9″ tall x 3 1/4″ wide x 4″ deep.
