Description
Showcasing a beautiful reddish-brown micaceous clay, this handmade jar by Santo Domingo potter Antoinette Crespin is hand painted in alternating butterfly and rose patterns delineated into panels by traditional weather patterns painted in black. Each butterfly is black, white and yellow, which each rose is red with a yellow center and green stem and leaves. Black designs including dots and weather patterns are also painted along the rim and above the butterfly and rose patterns, with the micaceous clay featuring glints of gold. 6 1/2″ tall x 7″ wide.
