Description

Created by Zuni carver Claudia Peina, this adorable dancing bear fetish comprises a composite of compressed orange spiny oyster shell and turquoise along with gold fill resin.  The bear stands on one foot, one arm bent and one outstretched, its head tilted upward and eyes and mouth inlaid with jet. In many Native American cultures, the bear represents strength, introspection, healing, and the spiritual journey. 2 5/8″ tall x 2 3/4″ wide x 7/8″ thick.
