Description
Standing atop a large, polished and curved cottonwood base, three roadrunners, one large and two small, face the same direction in this unique fetish by Zuni carver Alan Lewis. Each of the birds is a darker brown than the base upon which they stand, with the largest roadrunner in the center and the smaller two standing in front and back. Each roadrunner is polished and painted in red, black, white and turquoise accents, with the piece entirely carved and decorated by hand. The roadrunner is the state bird of New Mexico. 5 1/2″ tall x 5″ wide x 18″ long.
