Description
A large piece of white alabaster showcasing light and dark grey striations is hand carved into a frog by Zuni artist Alan Lewis in this traditional stone fetish. The piece is finished with the frog’s limbs up underneath it and turquoise inlay eyes. In many Native American cultures, the frog is considered the bringer of rain, fertility and abundance. 1 3/8″ tall x 3″ wide x 4 1/2″ long.
