Description
A substantial piece of lovely denim lapis varying medium to light blue to off-white is carved into two corn maidens attached along their sides in this traditional fetish by Zuni carver Cheryl Beyuka. Each corn maiden showcases a triangle of carved kernels along her front, along with lightly etched star and fine line patterns. The maidens are accented in coral, turquoise and lapis pieces. In most Native American cultures, the corn maiden is a bringer of life and represents potential. 3 3/8″ tall x 2 3/8″ wide x 1″ deep.
