Description

Carved entirely from jasper varying light to dark brown and containing black and white striations, this traditional stone fetish by Zuni carver Fred Weekaty depicts a mole.  The piece is accented with turquoise inlay eyes, and in many Native American cultures, the mole is considered the keeper of the underground. 1/2″ tall x 1″ wide x 2 1/4″ long.
