Description

Adding a touch of whimsy to the majority of his pieces, Zuni carver Freddie Leekya does the same here with a hat top a frog in Picasso marble.  The fetish varies tan to grey in color and is finished with turquoise inlay eyes, as well as along the hat and back of the neck, while the frog stands on all four limbs.  In many Native American cultures, the frog is considered the bringer of rain, fertility and abundance.  2 1/8″ tall x 1 1/4″ wide x 2″ long.
