Description

Etched deeply so that it’s textured, a piece of tan Picasso marble featuring deep brown sections depicts an owl in this delicate fetish by Zuni carver Scott Garnett.  The entirety of the head and body feature fine lines, some straight and some crossing over one another, creating texture along the piece, with the owl’s eyes finished with small pieces of turquoise.  In many Native American cultures, the owl is considered the protector of the home, and is said to have true wisdom and see what others cannot. 1 5/8″ tall x 1″ wide x 1″ long.
