Palms Trading Company features Native American Indian pottery from Jemez pueblo that is unique to New Mexico. Many Pueblo nations feature wedding vases, seed pots, storytellers and kachinas, but only Jemez Pueblo artists create the Friendship Pot. These pots have clay people molded to the top as if looking in. Our Jemez Pueblo pottery often features the artwork of Kathleen Wall and Fannie Loretto, both local Jemez Pueblo artists who create contemporary pieces known for deviating from traditional vessels typically seen in Jemez pottery.
